About Us
Purpose, Goals, and Strategies
Present Minds is a peer-lead volunteer group that functions on a wellness-hub model in order to:
- Support and review healthy thinking and living strategies by:
- (a) Being Present - ex: being in the company of people, catch and support.
- (b) Understanding and Learning - ex: availability to and exposure to credible information
- (c) Supporting - ex: developing and making connections
The group runs on an every other Wednesday model from 4-5:30pm in BGH D wing ADT room. Attendance is fluid and no sign up is required if you were part of the BGH ADT program.

CONSIDERATIONS
Present-Minds is not meant to replace therapy. Please keep details of trauma, substance use (including alcohol), and self-harm vague. These topics can be very disregulating to others.
Please Check with other members before offering advice: sometimes we just need to share/vent and are not ready for problem solving.
